September

So Long Sweet Summer.

Fall is here. Pumpkin Spice Latte’s are back {no judging here the deliciousness that’s getting so much ingredient hate on facebook}, college football has arrived {my hubby is happy! Oh.So.Happy}, and school starts for us officially today. {OH the angels sing}.

It’s been a sweet summer. Adding Addie to our family has brought about such completeness to our family. The jury is still out on what it would look like to expand our family, so for now, were both resting in and enjoying the dynamic of four. Three ladies with our man… He sure is one loved main squeeze.

Sweet September

Could You Get Any Cooler?!

Sweet September.

My Favorite Month of the Year.
The Hottest Month of the Year…
The Month Where I used to have to “go-back” and now I get to “stay-back”…
September has hit with a splash.
Quite literally in our backyard of course.
5 things that have made it so “so-so-so-so” Sweet!
1. Swim Lessons Are Still in Full Swing
Re-inforced Swimming Lessons with Uncle E!

The Mermaid is in her true element.
Doing her “diggity-dogs” and “fishy-feet”
(aka- her big arm’s and big kicks!)
And with some rocking goggles too!
2. Cooking Lessons are in Full Force

Banana in the Kitchen Aid?
Why, of course!
Little Miss has become quite the Betty Crocker.
She never wants to leave my side, & runs to my rescue, especially when it involves food.
Food eating.
Food prepping.
Food, well, food anything.
3. Beach Visits are Full of Open Spaces

The Babes.
Sam found the Sand.
Hubs found the Shade.
I went for a run.
Perfection.
Now that the tourists have departed, and the tots are back in school, the beach has become our wide open space. We have been having a ball playing in the sand, on the shore and dining seaside!

Samantha helped fill up the “doggy water bucket” for the volunteer police man.
Do you think their hiring?!!
4. Samantha is a Full Blown Homemaker

“MY TURN”, she exclaimed!
In addition to her recently discovered passion for the kitchen, she now loves to clean toilets! I mean, if there is every a time in your life that you liked cleaning, TWO is the time.
You get to pour “magical” powders on things and then you get to scrub?!!
Sign her up.
She died and went to Clorox Heaven.

She {Pooped} out on cleaning the last toilet.
Cheap Labor isn’t so FREE After ALL.
5. I Have Fully Realized I am not Forever 21.

Dave Matthews.

Late Nights.
(Ahhemm…2 am).
Dave Matthews Concert and Over-Night SD trip with dear friends.
So much fun.
So, so, so, hard to recover from.
I think a week later after 9 pm bedtimes I am finally recovered.
I am not Forever 21.
(Though I might forever shop there).

Dear September,
Your So sweet.
Feel Free To Stick Around For the Rest of the Month.

Hugs,
Mama
