Or, shall I say, a running, vocal, happy, never-wants-to-stop
She is full of so much energy!
“Were Going on a Trip is Sam’s Favorite Rocket Ship,
There’s So Much to Find,
*(My version of the intro to the Disney Channel’s Little Einsteins).
Can you tell Gossip Girl & the Real Housewives of Everywhere has been bumped on the Tivo by Disney Junior? Yup, welcome to #parenthood.
Welcome to Our Traveling Little Rocket Ship.
Were on the Road Quite A Bit.
Looking for entertaining adventures, far-off places to explore, and near activities to keep
the sanity level, well, level, and Sane.
A couple weeks ago our MOPS speaker was a woman named Susan Peterson.
She wrote a book called, “Fun Places to Go with Kids in Southern California”.
This book is seriously the size of a phone book. Remember those? Do those even still exist?
All I know is Google.
So, its gigantor & full of encyclopedia size recommendations of places & spaces to take all ages of kids.
I loved her suggestion to buy a post-card from each destination near & far that you travel too and on the back right down your favorite memory from that day. And when Sammy is old enough, she can jot down her favorite tale from the day.
Currently, I think most of the backs of our post-cards will read
“I enjoyed the snacks, food, & treats from ____”.
Seriously, eating is our girls favorite activity these days!
Oh well, the Goodmama Gang all enjoy’s the gourmet fare!
(its an issue).
I think, her little precious face, might make the perfect post card though…
|Back of Post Card Would Read: L.O.V.E.|
So, well, Captain Da-Da can sit back and drive.
And Cruise Director Mama, can, well, read her US weekly magazine.
And, Little Goodman Sammy can listen to her toddler tunes.
(Pray for our ears).
See you on the road.
Have a favorite place/activity/journey/travel destination/kid restaurant/southern ca treasure to share?
all the help,
we can get!
